We all know that in the US, there were certain things that changed on the VG30DETT's engine as the years went by from when it came here in 89, up until 1996. In a very tiny nutshell: fuel injectors, CAS, OBDII, among a myriad of other things. All these eventual changes made the 1995 VG30DETT motor most appealing to me. Now was this the case in Japan? Or was this something that was only changed for the US market? Reason I ask is because if I "can" get a front clip, or engine by year from Japan, is there a particular one that I would want to compare to the '95, or are they pretty much all the same? Do the '97+ motor's have OBDII in Japan? I dont know much about those.
